Proposal: Kat Council – A Community-Driven Future for Lucky Kat Studio
This proposal introduces Kat Council — a structured yet simple governance model designed to make Lucky Kat Studio more community-driven, creatively inclusive, and legally compliant. The Council framework rewards meaningful contributors, invites fans and holders to co-create our future, and provides a sustainable pathway for community-aligned decision-making.
We envision Lucky Kat Studio evolving into a creative movement shaped by its most loyal community members. From in-game stories and events to co-created content and strategic initiatives, Kat Council empowers players, creators, and collectors to actively participate and benefit from the growth of the Katverse.
To participate in the Council, community members earn a KatScore based on the Lucky Kat assets they hold. This score determines their level of access and influence in Kat Council.
A website is currently in development to automatically track each holder’s KatScore in real-time, meaning your score will adjust dynamically as you buy or sell Lucky Kat assets.

To prevent governance hijack, future iterations may require a minimum holding period for assets to count toward KatScore. The Council is also exploring quadratic or reputation-weighted voting and tiered proposal flows to enhance fairness and reduce the risk of governance manipulation.
